Nikki Bella Says She And Artem Chigvintsev Are Just Friends Despite Chemistry

This season of ‘Total Bellas’ finds Nikki Bella getting used to being single again after the end of her six-year relationship with John Cena. It was rumored that she is in a relationship with her ‘Dancing With the Stars’ partner Artem Chigvintsev but the former WWE champion is insisting that’s not the case.

During a recent episode of ‘TB,’ Nikki spills on her undeniable chemistry with the dancer. She even admitted that she acknowledged it with Cena because the connection was so strong.

US Weekly was able to catch up with the 35-year-old at the American Heart Association’s Go Red For Women Red Dress Collection 2019 fashion show in New York City. The twin briefly spoke about Artem.

“He’s on tour and so I’m kind of like … whatever city I’m in I kind of explore it … by myself.”

She explained that although they were dating they are not in a relationship despite the fact that they have so much chemistry and a cool connection.

The athlete has been set up on a few blind dates by people that want her to find the one. However, it’s clear that Nikki is enjoying time getting to know herself again.

She has been in serious relationships most of her adult life. The reality star previously dated fellow wrestler Dolph Ziggler and was even married before.

In addition to enjoying ‘me time,’ the Bella is fighting for her accomplishments as a woman to be separate from her former ties to John Cena.

Since she was dating the biggest star in the WWE world, she often felt that people credited her achievements due to her relationship with him. She also revealed that she lost herself while being with the actor.

“I think for a man, it’s different. I feel like, if anything, the woman gets blamed for what happens, for taking away from what they do. But I get all my work taken away because of that. I don’t know, I feel like sometimes there’s a double standard and I really have felt that. And it’s been really, really hard.”
