Meghan King Edmonds Goes Instagram Official With Her New Boyfriend Amid Divorce From Jim Edmonds

Former Real Housewives of Orange County star Meghan King Edmonds isn’t officially divorced from her estranged husband, former St. Louis Cardinals center fielder Jim Edmonds. But, that hasn’t kept her from going Instagram official with her new boyfriend, Christian Schauf.

Meghan and Christian confirmed their new relationship this week with a post that featured a pic of the new couple. In the caption, Edmonds wrote: “I’ll just say this: I’m happy and looking forward to writing my next chapter.”

An insider told Page Six recently that Edmonds and Schauf met through a mutual friend – nutritionist and personal trainer Nancy Anderson – a few months ago, and they started dating earlier this year.

Schauf is from Park City, Utah, and he is the founder and CEO of Uncharted Supply Company, which according to the retailer’s website provides gear for “unexpected survival situations.”

The new couple recently spent the Memorial Day weekend together while Edmonds’ three children – Aspen, 4, Hart, 2, and Hayes, 2 – were in St. Louis with their dad. Edmonds posted pictures on Instagram over the holiday weekend from Park City, and she joked that her plans were to become “a mountain woman” during her break. She also revealed on her Instagram Stories that she went mountain biking for the first time ever during the long weekend.

Edmonds had been in quarantine in Southern California with her three kids since March, but the children recently traveled back to Missouri to spend time with their dad. Even though Meghan and Jim haven’t settled their divorce, they have reached a 50/50 split custody agreement.

Meghan and Jim suddenly split in October after five years of marriage when she accused him of cheating with the nanny, an accusation both Jim and the nanny denied. In March, Jim confirmed that he was in a relationship with Kourtnie O’Connor, a woman that Meghan revealed on her podcast used to have threesomes with her and Jim during their marriage.

After Meghan King Edmonds went Instagram official with Christian Schauf, many of her fellow Bravolebrities gave their approval of the new relationship. Former Southern Charm star Cameran Eubanks wrote that she was happy for her “sweet friend.”
