After the loss of a baby daughter with his wife, Gary Woodland seems to be recovering from his family tragedy. The father of a son is set to welcome twin girls with his wife of three years in the August of this year.

Gary Woodland is an American professional golfer, currently playing on the PGA Tour. Known as one of the longest hitters on tour, he has been competing on the PGA Tour since 2009 and has four wins.

Gary was born on 21 May 1984 to parents Dan Woodland and Linda Woodland. He grew up with his family in Topeka, Kansas.

Woodland pursued his high school education at Shawnee Heights High School. Later, he went to the University of Kansas on a golf scholarship, where he studied Sociology. The talented golfer stands at the height of 6 foot 1 in (1.85 meters) and weighs around 86 kg (190 lbs).

His Career; PGA Tour, WITB

Gary began his professional career, playing in a handful of tournaments on the second-tier Nationwide Tour in 2007. He entered the Qualifying school for the PGA Tour in 2008 and earned him a full card to play on the PGA Tour in 2009.

Woodland won his first PGA Tour title at the Transitions Championship in 2011. His second PGA Tour win was at the Reno–Tahoe Open in 2014. In 2018, he grabbed his third PGA Tour win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open. Recently, he won his first major championship at the U.S. Open, beating Brooks Koepka in June 2019.

In 2017, Gabby became pregnant with twin girl and a boy. However, they lost their daughter and she gave birth to their son Jax. Gary and his wife Gabby are soon-to-be the parents of three children. They are set to welcome twin girls in August 2019.
