Kim Kardashians Engagement Ring is a Kanye West Recycled Design

Long before Kim Kardashian was famous for being deflowered degraded by occasional rapper Ray J her current fiance was quite the ladies man. Back in 2006 Kanye West was engaged to model Alexis Phifer for quite some time before their relationship crashed and burned. According to the Nov. 11th print edition of In Touch nothing was too good for Alexis and Kanye dropped a huge chunk of change on her ring. The problem? Well that rock that she wore is nearly identical to the one that Kim is now sporting. Supposedly the reality stars’ ring is bigger but when it comes to the design, it’s pretty much the same ring!

I’m not sure if this really surprises me. I mean Kanye talks a good game when it comes to his designs and we already know that Kim worships at his creative feet. He considers his fashion sense to be genius and Kim wears what he says and does as she’s told because in her mind Kanye always knows best. We have watched him cram Kim into dresses that are clearly meant for a woman without curves, indicating that Kanye likes what he likes. The person wearing it is ultimately like a mannequin so of course he chose the same ring for Kim that he had originally picked out for Alexis! He wants his maybe future wife to wear a particular ring. Kim just got extra carats for being his baby mama.
