Heather Locklear Says She Would Love For Melrose Place To Get Another Reboot During Cast Reuni
The actress reminisced about her Melrose Place role back in the day during a virtual cast reunion amid the coronavirus, COVID-19 pandemic quarantine. That being said, Heather Locklear revealed that she would love to portray Amanda Woodward again so she is definitely all for a hypothetical reboot of the popular show.
Heather dished about those days, amid other things also opening up about working with Lisa Rinna.
While on SiriusXM’s Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley’s ‘Stars in the House’ the actress dished that: ‘It would be fun to play Amanda again at the ripe old age of 58.’
She then joked about her age, saying that she also lived through ‘that first pandemic of 1918.’
As fans may know, she played the advertising executive on the Beverly Hills, 90210 spin-off from 1992 to 1999 and then reprised her role, although only briefly, on the 2009 reboot but it looks like she is still not sick and tired of the role.
The online reunion was also the very first time the cast members all hung out in no less than 8 years!
That being said, Marcia Cross, Doug Savant, Thomas Calabro, Grant Show, Courtney Thorne-Smith, Andrew Shue, Daphne Zuniga, Laura Leighton and Josie Bissett were also present!
The show was set in a West Hollywood apartment complex that Heather’s character owned and would feature a lot of drama, including explosive catfights.
About this, Heather stated that ‘Since I don’t normally [fight] in real life, I don’t behave like that — maybe sometimes — it was super fun. People like that kind of attitude.’
That is also when she mentioned Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Lisa Rinna, saying that she particularly enjoyed shooting scenes with her.

Rinna played the character of Taylor, and she was indeed, very feisty so the scenes must have been a lot of fun to shoot for Locklear.
