Hes on big f****** money now Paddy Pimblett gets new contract after revealing his base

British MMA star Paddy Pimblett has signed a bumper new deal with the UFC ahead of his third Octagon appearance, according to his manager Graham Boylan.

‘The Baddy’ has quickly become one of the biggest names on the UFC roster after picking up first-round stoppage victories and a legion of new fans in his first two fights.

Pimblett was one of the main attractions when the UFC returned to London for the first time in three years in March.

That’s why fight fans were shocked to hear he was only guaranteed to make $12,000 (£9,000) to fight at the event.

Thankfully, he doubled his purse with a victory – a common perk in the UFC – and he ended up taking home an extra $50,000 bonus for finishing his opponent.

In the worst-case scenario, Pimblett would’ve walked away from UFC London with just £9,000, but he took home over £51,000 instead, and now things have drastically changed heading into his next fight.

Boylan, who as well as managing fighters like Pimblett, Molly McCann and Jai Herbert, also runs London-based MMA promotion Cage Warriors, recently addressed the uproar about his most famous fighter's contract.

“Everybody goes into the UFC on a standard contract. There's no difference what you do, you have to go and prove yourself,” Boylan told Mirror Fighting after CW 140 in Belfast.

The Irishman went on to reveal that Pimblett has signed a new contract ahead of his next fight and is now earning significantly more money as a result.

"I can categorically tell you now that contract's gone, that's gone - he's on f****** big money now. It is what it is but I'm just happy for him,” Boylan said.

Pimblett is set to get his first step up in opposition when he takes on Jordan Leavitt at UFC London on July 23.

The American boasts a 10-1 record and has picked up three wins from his first four fights in MMA’s premier promotion.

In his first two fights, Pimblett fought against Kazula Vargas and Luigi Vendramini who both had losing records in the UFC and have since been cut by the organisation.
