David Guetta Drops Victoria Secret Models Video For "2U"

On 8th June, DJ David Guetta released the music video for 2U. The video was later shared by Bieber himself on his respective social media channels.

The Lyrics

2U is an electronic dance love song. It features Justin Bieber and Victoria Secret models. The lyrics talk about a streak of madness love brings and the beauty that it entails. Guetta’s music complements the lyrics quite well and the powerful beat drops give impact to the song.

The Music Video

In the video, Victoria Secret models’ Elsa Hosk, Martha Hunt, Stella Maxwell, Sara Sampaio, Romee Strijd, and Jasmine Tookes, can be seen lip-syncing to Bieber’s lyrics. As they dance around, showcasing their routine, they flawlessly and effortlessly show off their modelling in the video.

The music video seems to be an appreciation of a model’s work. Modelling, after all, is not about face, it’s about portraying just the right amount of expression through the entire body that speaks for the brand being promoted.

It’s an expressive art and a serious business that requires practice.

Bieber Missing

The only thing that might have disappointed fans is Bieber’s absence from the music video. Bieber might not have made the appearance in the video but the ladies cover well for him.

The subject matter of the song required his voice but not necessarily his physical presence. He let characters do their job and as mentioned above, they did their job really well.
