I didn’t even become aware of Conrad Hilton until he went absolutely bonkers on an international flight back in 2014. No one even heard about the incident – which led to Conrad’s arrest – until months later, back in February 2015. The story of that arrest is awful/amazing – Conrad was drunk or high (or both) and he started going berserk in first class, calling the other passengers “peasants” and getting into physical altercations with the staff and more. I said at the time that Conrad should be prosecuted under terrorism statutes, because JUSTICE. Just because he has white skin, doesn’t mean he gets to behave that way on a flight. But at the end of the day, the Hilton name won out and he copped a generous plea deal that had him pleading down to a lesser assault charge and paying a fine and probation, basically.

So, Conrad was under “strict” probation terms when he broke into the home of an ex-girlfriend back in June 2015. The ex-girlfriend had a restraining order against him, so he plainly violated the terms of the restraining order, plus he had been stalking and harassing her for a while. And once again, Conrad is walking away with a slap on the wrists.

Conrad Hilton has been ordered to spend at least 90 days in a clinic for substance abuse treatment after violating his probation after last year. The hotel heir was spared jail by his Los Angeles judge, despite calls from authorities to send him to prison for 60 days, the City News Service reports. The authorities argued that Hilton had violated his probation by trespassing, failing drug tests, failing to complete three treatment programmes and leaving California without getting permission from his probation officer.

The 21-year-old brother of Paris and Nicky Hilton was originally sentenced to probation and community service after his February arrest for threatening passengers and flight attendants during an international flight. Following his arrest and admission to having smoked pot in the plane bathroom and threatening to kill one flight attendant, he voluntarily checked into a rehab facility. In June, Hilton’s antics made headlines again when he was arrested for the second time in four months for reportedly violating a restraining order his ex-girlfriend Hunter Salomon had against him.

This is the message being sent to women in California: if you’re being stalked, harassed and threatened by a rich ex-boyfriend, you’re on your own, because the California legal system will literally just shuffle him off to rehab for a few months and call it a day. If the dude is a rich white man, he’s allowed to spend ten hours terrorizing a plane full of people, walk away with a slap on the wrists and probation, and when he violates the probation terms, barely anything is done. What the hell?
