Cardi B and Offset daughter, Kulture is now 2 years old and it’s safe to say that on her birthday, she was showered with love and expensive gifts! That being said, some fans were not too happy that the toddler received a 9K Birkin Bag from her dad despite being so young!
However Cardi B is defending Offset, firing back at the critics who questioned why would a 2 year old even want something like that.
Kulture seems to be growing up with expensive taste like her parents and they are making sure of that but always giving her the most luxurious items.
That being said, on her second birthday earlier this week, the Migos rapper bought his daughter a hot pink Birkin bag that is listed as around $9000 and many social media thought it was excessive in addition to being a useless gift a little girl would not be able to enjoy anyway.
But, earlier today, Cardi B took to her Twitter to clap back at all those who dragged her husband.
‘No it’s not always about what your kids want. Kids want ice cream and cake all day NOT HAPPENING, My kid wants to be in the pool all day NOT HAPPENING. We can do light up shoes and princess dress all day in the house if we going out she gotta Match me ! If I’m fly my kid too,’ she argued.
As for the comments she was addressing, they said things like: ‘Why does a 2 year old need that? She’s probably more excited about the box.’ / ‘Kids want something thoughtful of them not adult cool points! What she gone put in there? Cheetos and pop tarts edges!’ / ‘She don’t want that she want a f**ing Barbie.’
All in all, Cardi insisted that she simply wants Kulture to match her since she is a celebrity baby and they go to fancy red carpet events and restaurants.
Basically, she is intentionally teaching her daughter to prefer luxury brands as she grows up!
